How it works
- Enter the public Instagram handle of the account you want to check (without the @).
- We fetch the account's most recent five follows using publicly available data.
- Results appear in seconds. No one on the other end is notified — Instagram does not tell users when someone views their public profile.

Is this legal?
Yes, within the same boundaries that let Google index public Instagram profiles. The hiQ Labs v. LinkedIn (9th Cir. 2022) ruling confirmed that viewing publicly available web data does not violate the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act. This tool only works with public accounts.

Does the person know I checked their profile?
No. Instagram does not tell users when someone views their public profile or their following list.
Does it work on private accounts?
No. Private accounts only show their follows to approved followers. No legitimate tool can bypass that.
Why only five results?
Five is enough to tell whether the account is active and what direction it has been going recently. For the full history and continuous tracking, upgrade to Last Followed Pro.
Do I need an account to use this tool?
No. You can run a check without signing up. Signing up is only required for the Pro features (full history, alerts).
